Mr Curnow

Would there be two lines from - Consumer unit> Two way switch> Lights
- Consumer unit> Lights?
Or Just one line from - Consumer unit> Two way switch> Lights?

The earth would go from the - Consumer unit> Two way switch> Lights
The neutral would go from the - Consumer unit> Lights

At the moment I think I wire it like this.

Line goes from consumer unit to the common of the first switch.
Then there are two strappers from L1+L2 between the first switch and the second.
The line will run from the common of the second switch to the loop (Middle) block of the ceiling rose.
The line will run from the loop block of the ceiling rose to the live block of the second ceiling rose.

The neutral will run from the consumer unit to the neutral block of the first ceiling rose.
The neutral will then run from the neutral block of the first ceiling rose to the neutral block of the second.

The switch wire will run from the common of the switch to the live block of the ceiling rose.

Is that right?

You seem to be a little adrift with your description if I read it corect

Why are you using the loop in(middle connection)and why are you describing two lots of wire from the common of the second switch

Not quite, the common from the second switch goes to the switch live of the rose (the lampholder) then on to the next rose in a similar fashion. I'd do you a diagram but I'm on my phone so can't really do that right now. Ultimately you will end up with a pair of lives and a pair of neutrals at the first light and a single live and neutral at the second light. Any more and you've done it wrong.

The switch wire connects the common of the switch to the live of the rose, so how would I connect to the next lamp? Would I take another switch wire from the live block in the first ceiling rose to the live in the next? But if that was true then why would there be a loop block?

Hi mate
the loop block is if you are taking the line Neutral and cpc in and out at the rose then twin and earth down to drops for common and sw/L, Line from loop down to switch then Sw/L returning to live of rose and use this method for T/E in domestic
for singles do as dunc says
line from CB to common first switch
two strappers from L1 and L2 of first switch to second switch L1 and L2
then line from common of second switch to sw/Live of first rose
then another line from the Sw/live of first roset to second rose Sw/live
then neutral from N block of ccu to first rose and onto second rose connected to N
and CPCs from Earth block of ccu looped through switches and accessories and stops at the last rose

there should be no lines in the loops of the roses in this case
