Long story short, I forgot to mark where my cables were prior to installing laminate. I accidently skimmed the side of a cable for one of the electric heating pads under the laminate when drilling a hole in the laminate for closet doors. Right now, I'd rather have the heating pad working than the door up.
These are 240V pads. Dedicated circuit for about 7 pads. I have split the cable. One side of the cable I can pull slack. The other side is taut. The current hole in laminate is about two inches square. I'm not a qualified electrician. Would an electrician even be able to fix this? Ideally I'd like to splice and hide under the floor again using wood filler to plug hole.

- TL;DR
- Hit a heating pad cable under laminate, need options
