Good memories...........my dad was a fitter and turner at Swinneys in Morpeth then went on to be Head 'rate fixer' at Reyrolles in Ashington.
My brother followed him into the trade and at 26 yr old became youngest manager of the then 'National coal board'.

My Dad wasn't called Jesus, but he thought he bloody was (Happily still living but a little wiser). Fine sheet metal worker though.
