@ayjay. Now, I'm going to explain you what is exactly i want to do. i have device with direct Ac direct on from the socket. So, If switch of wire inserted in the socket it is on. I want to place on/off button or switch in a wire which is socket to device. I hope this is enough information which you require..to help me...out..i think you are not english to understand me what i am talking about. Thank You :willy_nilly:

On the socket, next to the plug you have put in it there is a switch for this very reason.

if there isn't

Call a electrician ........
 
The wire positive most is likely to switch but not negative. Ensure multi-test to safety and consult some person who is certicate. Hope this helps but english not my good. Daz
