Hi gents. Firstly my apologies to all the good and the great sparks out there to whome this response doesn’t apply and second to the mods who I hope will bear with me ( Sadly the ones who this response is targeted at spend so much time admiring their own anuses they won’t recognise who they are,. finally thank you to those who have genuinely tried to be helpful.

My title is commercial project manager. But in truth I’m just a jumped up bricky .Funding isn’t an issue the clients will put cash into a project account for the job I’m looking at 2 mill at the moment but it could be More.
Do I like winding sparks up... absolutely I’ve managed a few when running dlos doing repairs revites voids and the like.
Do I know anything about electrics.. enough to undertake and sign of my own work when I was building houses renovating property and the like + a bit that I have learned off my preferred experienced Tradsmen (pets) a fair bit I’ve learned from forums like this then backing it up with relevant study. Cause I still like learning ---- and can get a bit ---- about it. I know f all about commercial though.

If there isn’t a pice of kit out there that can be placed against the outer sheath of a 400v swa cable that would show it is live then I will assum they are until dno demonstrate otherwise. Fortunately I got authorisation on Friday to put in new goods lift in so by way of knocking through a couple of walls I can get the asbestos and old boilers out without going through the cables in question the other 2 cables possibly the same ones will need to be moved but that will be the dno’s problem and I have a couple of months to sort that.... See what the dNo say next week

Have you not read @Vortigern post #53? I now understand how you became a Project Manager.
