Now, please bare with me while I try to explain what it is I'm after...
What I'm after is a sort of plastic collar/insert which is used when first fixing sockets and switches. They hold the socket/switch front proud of the metal knockout box so it can be plastered around. It sort of acts as protection for the wiring as the plasterer can plaster without the need to turn the power off or remove the socket/switch fronts. It also leaves a nice finish around the box so when the plaster is dry the sockets/switches can be screwed back and it all looks lovely. I think they are also used when tiling around sockets/switches.
I think that's the best way I can describe them. I have searched the forums and googled it but to no avail.
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Luke.
