Immersun - remote clamp on incoming cables

Seeing as there are a few Immersun dealers on the forum now, I reckon someone may be able to help me out.

We went to look at a job yesterday which looks like a good candidate for an Immersun unit BUT the consumer unit is a fair way away from the incoming mains (where the PV system CU is also installed.) This makes installing a bit of an issue as we obviously need to use the clamp to monitor the incoming cable. Has anyone any idea if you can get a remote unit?

50m using twisted pair (Cat 5) We've run it that far as a test no problem, the manufacturer tested it up to 100m so they spec it at 50m

A wireless version is under development.

Distance isn't really the issue - it's the cable run which is a nightmare.

It would make life a lot easier with a remote clamp, hopefully its close to completion!

I spoke to Jo @Immersun a couple of weeks ago about the expected timescale for the remote option. She said it would probably be within the next three months. They are apparently waiting on a supplier for the enclosure. The remote sensor option is available in the firmware of the latest devices we have installed.
