Evening all

Curious as to what you all do to increase your workload i.e. networking groups, agency work/subbing, pay for leads etc?

Currently I'm only a year in to going it alone and looking at ways to fill the diary out and increase customer base.

Cheers

You're not gonna like my input, but whatever you do,do not start a blanket ad campaign.

I would favour the personal visit method,to those in the trade, whether known or not,to explain who you are, what and where you can do.

Yep,it takes patience, fuel, front and a bit of thought, but you will be at least generating chances which have at least been roughly strained,if not filtered.

The ad bombing method, will get you anything from grey water to semi-solids :)

Make sure your customers know that you are looking for work. If you do a good job for them and let them know at the end of the job you have some availability in "a couple of weeks time", they may well hear of someone who needs some work doing over the next few weeks and recommend you. Make sure they have your number in their phone.

Leave them a few business cards to hand out if required.
