I am struggling to find any insurance company that offers indemnity insurance for EICR's without having to take out public liability at the same time.I renewed my PL insurance in December but now need indemnity insurnace but all the companies want to lump it together.Any recommendations where to buy it on it's own would be gratefully received.

I am also in the same boat and looking for some insurance recommendation, which company you have opted for?

Will almost always be underwritten as a combined policy. Can't actually think of a reason why you'd ever want/need them to be separate anyway. A case in point would be the risk of two different under-writers passing the buck to each other as to whether an event fell under PL or PI - a combined policy and that cannot happen. Our commercial insurance is a combined EL/PL/PI/Products which is a global 'all risks' due to the work we do and it's an eye-watering premium but I can't even imagine attempting to find those separately.

Rhino trade insurance were fine with giving me PI without PL (though of course they quoted for both)

If you use them, quote Bundy10 for a discount if it's still working (From Nick Bundy's Youtube channel)
