once met a guy, said he was a pirate. i said "where's your buccaneers?". he replied " underneath my bukking hat"

Have you a copy of BS7671?

Still no, the circuit needs 1 overall point of isolation, which if you're taking it from 3 different CU's it obviously can't have.
So what would a 4 pole isolator do then?

By the looks of it you’ve got 10 circuits spread over 3 boards?......(you could probably do the lot on one board realistically if you did some calculations) why not just re-jig them slightly and feed the hob from 1 new rcbo.....50a if you feel the need but I doubt you’ll need it.
But bare in mind it is notifiable work so you’ll need a spark in a scheme :)
Notifiable work only if I tell someone.

Most of the people on this site like to do the job properly Bogart, including notifying jobs when they need notifying. You mentioned earlier you were 'going around in circles' when discussing this on another site. I think that's probably because you have a set idea of what you want and don't seem able to budge too much from that, even with the plethora of opposing arguments from experienced and capable electricians.

I am not trying to be obstructive or argumentative but so far nobody has said why a 4 pole RCBO spurred off the henley blocks, before the CUs, and a local 4 pole isolator by the hob is unsuitable or not allowed. Surely this arrangement gives a seperate 3 phase supply.

I've seen what has been posted elsewhere and, the advice to the OP is pretty much identical to that here.
The OP seems to be going round in circles because the either don't or won't understand the advice given to them, for free, by professionals who specialise in this area of engineering.
The OP has their own ideas and keeps asking in different ways if they are acceptable and keeps getting told no there, the same as here.
Also using an NC contactor is a crazy idea!!!
Totally dangerous and potentially lethal.
In fact so much so it would be verging on criminal negligence is someone were to get hurt because of it.

All obviously IMHO.

And one more question . Is there anything to stop me running the hob in 3 phase even though I have 3 CU each on a different phase? I was intending having a 20 Amp MCB in each for the hob. The hob is split into 3 zones so I
assumed, rightly or wrongly , that this was permissible.
This is a very very bad idea. Please do not do this.

So 4 pole RCBO fed from the henley blocks with 4 pole isolator by the hob. A simple yes or no will suffice.

If I cut a piece of cable and then just join it together by twisting the conductors together will it work?

Bogart, it's not about whether something will work or not, it's about all the other knowledge required about how it works.

Your questions show that you don't have the knowledge to be doing this so no sane electrician on this site is going to say 'yes' to your question as you'll just blindly take that as a green light.

Stick your tongue out as much as you like. Probably sums up your mentality!

You’ve had the sensible answers but you just won’t listen to them.
Still waiting for one.
