phil d,
It is you that seems peeved not I.
I rarely come here now because of a lot of the nonsense that is talked, and the abuse that flies around.
Things move on, people bleat on about working to this reg and that reg in the 17th, but few seem to be bothered about anything else.
I just keep reminding people that there is more to electrical & other work than the 17th.
Like it or not.
I have no desire or wish to promote my business, when I do it is tongue in cheek as I would be too busy to do anything additional anyway.
I have contacted 2 forum members offering them work, one was busy at the time, the other was out of work and pleased to take what I passed on.

YES I DO CRITICISE, it is my way, I press people to take a second look at what they do and what they are thinking about, it is my way, I always question things, I try not to take anything for granted, I always try to get other ideas brought up. Again my way, though it obviously is unpopular round here because I question the "Status Quo".
TOUGH, I will continue to question things, when I can be bothered to come in here.
As my questioning is so unpopular then I now choose what I respond to very carefully.

Oh, and the question about qualifications, was actually a genuine one, I was not "having a go" at you, I am interested in what HSE require for the post you describe on a professional level, and if that status is still valid.
