Hi guys, I'm after getting my city and guilds testing and inspecting cert but understand its all changing. A condition of my new job is to get that sorted but which exam or exams will I have to do? Has 2391 been extended till march now? cheers

Doe hold me to it, but I think the 2391 is only open to people doing resits. You would of had to have registered by now for it! Think you will have to do 2394 & 2395 now buddy.

There have been millions of posts on this over the last year, do a search, and you will find all you need, and have a look on the C&G website, it is all very well explained.

I've had a look and it seems 2394 is also for designing so I'd guess at just 2395? Though they both have a multiple choice exam, a written assessment and a practical piece which sounds a lot more than the old 2391.

I've been looking into this as well...

It all just seems very much like C&G just wanted an excuse to charge people for doing 2 courses/exams instead of 1... Grrrr!

I think the 2392 is on its way out but not gone yet.

If you do the 2395 which will also cover most of initial verification then you should be covered qualification wise, however they way it is touted is as 2394+2395 = 2391.

I look at it as 2394 =2392 and 2395=2391 but they are not the same course content.
