received an installation cert from one of the sparks , it was for a new circuit for a washing machine he installed on an exisiting domestic CU , just want to know how much info should be included on the circuit details and results page .

Ive informed him to go back and record all the circuits as lablled on the board as he only supplied the details of the new circuit . obviously only test results for the circuit installed

any extra info He need supply?

Was the Sparks sent only to wire 1 new circuit? or a new circuit and an E.I.C.R.? Was the bonding checked? any RCDs present on the existing CU

Why? What's the point? If he has installed one new circuit why do you want details of the existing ones which this electrician has had nothing to do with
Assuming that this new circuit was covered by existing RCD(s) and bonding was present and compliant.

he had been to do a board change 3 months ago for which a inst cert had been done This time tenant needed a washing machine point put in which the spark said would be easier to fit rather than supply it off the existing ring .
circuit details should be filled in as much as possible ?

I agree, for the circuit he installed.
If you'd sent him to a warehouse to feed a single item of new equipment would you expect details of everything installed there which could run to several pages and take an extraordinary amount of time for no benefit?

What's your role in this?

For what it's worth on an EIC of this nature I note "used" against all the existing circuits and "spare" against any unused breakers or gaps.

New circuit - 5 page cert.
Even if page 1,2,3, are identical to the one from a couple of months ago.
Something to consider when adding a socket.
IE off existing circuit or new circuit.
Shouldnt you know all this if you are operating a business?
