Please could you comment on this installation on this 240v supply, particularly on the outer sheath stripped back on the orange circular, any reference to AS 3000 would be appreciated

the Sheath doesn’t look stripped. Looks like someone has put black heat shrink over the top. Strange.

Hello Ken

The orange outer sheath has been taken off completely on this 240v cable, the black sheath is the nylon protection

Sorry don’t have AS to hand, but “insufficient impact protection” as the heat shrink is most likely not rated/intended to replace the cable sheath in that way.
