Hi. I have installed a 5/8" earth rod but am having issues with the plastic box cover that sits on top. I purchased one from TLC but it seems too small to fit properly (see photo)
Also is there a specific gland to use where the 6mm2 earthing conductor exits the box? I don't want anything climbing in there

Thanks

The Whiska 20mm glands will probably go down to 6mm cable diameter. If you really want it properly sealed (which is kind of pointless here, but for mechanical rigidity) then you might find that some PVC or self-amalgamating tap on the cable where the gland ought to grip it will do to give the gland enough diameter to close on fully.

Not matter what glands you use the box will fill full of water/woodlice/spiders/mice/other horrible things within a few months anyway...

The one Midwest has linked to is a much better option.
