Installing A New Consumer Unit

Hi all,

Quick question...
when buying a new consumer unit i need to buy such a unit which leaves 10% spare ways free for future expansion right?

Not easy to get 0.4 of a way on a 4 way CU...:rolleyes4:

Use common sense....assess how many extra ways may be needed in the future.

A good idea but dont know about it being a "need"

I used to buy them on price, usually used wylex 10 way, as most of the work i did was replacing old 4 way rewireable boards.
