Looking at a job tomorrow morning- where the customer wants pendants turned into LED down-lights in hall, bathroom and kitchen. He mentioned that there is a loft space above these areas but the existing lights are wired in steel conduit.

How do you guys normally go about installing down-lights in this case.

-not sure if the conduit is used as the cpc or if theres a separate cpc run- will find out tomorrow

any neat tricks guys?

How much access is there and how much working space is there? I'd be tempted to put ceiling roses on if they are wired in 20mm tube via through boxes and such like, although it may not be possible due to space restrictions and whether or not you can fit ceiling roses on.

like a klik you mean? then flexed into downlight- would work if all stop end boxes and I can twist them upwards- but chances some will be through boxes or 90 etc- so will not be able to twist these around...
