Anybody use one of the cable staplers. Arrow do one which will do up to 6mm twin and earth.

A sparky on a course with me swore by them but I've not seen anybody else use one.

Just today I must of put over a 600 clips and it takes time. I wondered if one of these was worth getting. My mate is not convinced although he's a bit conservative when it comes to tools.

Do they still do those?....wow!....I thought it was something that flashed in and back out again.

Didn't realise that people actually did use them. I thought that they were sure to fail based on the fact that you could clip meters and meters of cable and all of a sudden bang a staple through your cable. But I suppose you could do the same with a clip?

Never seen them in action so can't really give them a fair review but are they pricey compared to clips? Can see a time saving element.

Having said all that BT use staple guns, but there is far less power in their cables.

how often will you need to use it? Would renting one from a tool hire place be more cost effictive... and might give you an idea of good brands...
