Insulated steps?

If only looking to take on some domestic sub work & expecting not to work higher than ceiling height to light fittings etc, which type of step ladder would be preferable?

Platform or just the stepped swing back? Number of treads?

I've used both, the platforms are handy for resting all manner of stuff on whilst you're working...

You can't beat Clow stepladders I,ve got the four tread ones for working on domestic and the 6 treads for working above false ceilings. Cheapest place is their factory website.

Likewise I use 4 and 6 tread, I paid less from Denmans, £50 for the 4 tread and £57.70 for the 6 tread, I am not sure what it will work out at with the trade discount.
