simply because BS60898 is trhe BS number for a MCB, not an RCD. this thread is either 1, a wind up. 2. the OP hasn't got a clue. 3. the OP has problems translating what he does into the written word.
 
You so clearly don't know what you are doing. You say you are on a T.T system you aint done any correct RCD tests and then you ask us why you are on a rocky road!! Do you know what an RCD is or what it even stands for if you claim the RCD is a 60898!
Go recheck your earthing and redo the insulation tests using your on-site guide or GN3. Being a spark you should have them to hand.

Well your country of origin says England, if you were chinese then we could think a language problem is why the totally ridiculous post, as you are in England though we all know you have no idea at all what your talking about, going back to the original question, again why 0.2 and what about the actual real RCD readings. we know what 0.2 means regarding a TT system, but that has no bearing on what results you should have for us, no results, no help from me, and probably the other too, don't touch what you do not understand
