I was just doing an IR test on a ring and am a bit stuck, could one of you kind sir's please help me out?

I tested L-E got 20.4 MOhms
I tested N-E got 17.6 MOhms
I then tested L-N and got 0.00 MOhms

Anybody got any ideas why I would gave 0.00 MOhms when testing L-N?

IR testing is without a doubt the biggest pain

Is this for a periodic, minor works, or installation, just out of interest?

Edit - if it's a periodic then it is acceptable to connect all live conductors (i.e. lines and neutrals) together and just test to the protective earth...

No I am using a Fluke 1652, seems ok!
