With the Green Deal fiasco and free insulation not being available any more what are people doing about cavity wall insulation when it's needed to get the D rating ???

we have just lost 4 jobs on the run due to the houses not reching grade D, the owners were not interested in the green deal when advised about it as they thougt it was a rip off

Just a thought - cavity wall insulation would only cost around £500 ish and the payback when added to solar pv would give you a much better payback period. Why not just include the cost of cavity wall insulation and loft insulation in the quote for pv? There will be loads of insulation installers desperate to help you out with it at a keen price. I think that's the way we will go.
