Hopefully got a load of these to do if the price is right

3 storey houses .. 3 x smokes in corridors 1 x heat in kitchen

Average price anybody?

Not trying to be nosey but really want to be sure about the quote i put in!

easy job with radio bases... just connect them to some light circuits...couple of hours...if you have full ceiling roses not neutrals in the switches way....
Pain in the back when have to run tri core between all of them, chases/trunking floorboards etc...your day rate or two

And hope building control or local authority dont class a Grade A....!!
 
Slowly giving up Bill, seen a newly opened Shell petrol station last week, with building control had pulled up. Aico somkes throught the shop, back store room, staff kitchen and main office. Niciee certificate stated the design, install and commisionong complied to BS5839 part 1. Being replaced soon

Sigh.

I just wonder where some people's heads are at these days. Would honestly love to meet the guy signing off on that cert - to find out exactly how he thinks it complies with Part 1 of ANY standard.....

I can see the day when all fire safety becomes notifiable. Well, put more accurately, I long for the day. Just not the cost.
