Introducing myself - New member

I am new member here - Sam.
I am enthusiast DIYer and IT engineer by profession so understand quite a bit about technology and electricity in general.
I have joined forum to get some advice and clarifying a doubt before I put underfloor heating in one of the rooms.
I'll post a question on the relevant forum page and hope to get useful info from experts helping out here.
