I've had four Android phones now a mix between HTC and Samsung and never had a problem.

Don't get me wrong, I was an HTC user since 2001 starting with the XDA 1. Was a palm pilot guy before that. I had every HTC model thereafter. Mini S, Exec etc. I loved it as I could build & use my own software to suit me. But then they changed from windows to android & what a pile of garbage that was. Nearly lost all my backed up data from 2001. Ok, it was just out then but it was rubbish as a programmer & even normal joe bloggs. Crashed all the time, was slow & just wasn't for me.
I swore I wouldn't go to apple but at the time I had no other alternative so I could back up all my up to date contacts, mail & calendars.....I'll never leave apple now! Even though HTC has went back to Windows, Apple have made my life so much easier for work etc.

Currently in my house we have:
2 x 16gb iPods for my 5 & 10 year old
1 x 32gb iPad 1 for my 1 year old
2 x 64gb iPad 2 for the 5 & 10 year old
1 x 32gb iPad 3 for the Mrs
1 x 64gb iPad 3 for me
2 x 32gb iPhone 4 for me & the Mrs

I'm appled out my nut lol but I can't wait to get the 5. No major difference for me other than a better can & Siri

I like phones that make phone calls.
No camera, no text, games, no i-net, no bells, no whistles. Just plain and simple phone calls.

weve got the new ipad for work the idea was for it was to recieve emails of drawings off manufacturers while on site but still struggling to find a program that will link up with microsoft word for doing invoices while in the van so they dont have to be done in the weekend

dont get me wrong the ipad is a good bit of kit but in my oppinion its way overpriced and it seems apple go way out of its way to make it complicated to do simple things like transfering a movie file from a laptop to the ipad unless you buy the movie from itunes i tried it when we went on holiday to devon to put a film on for the kids for the 4 hour drive down and i ended up up giving up on it before i threw it out of the window

i was thinking about having the iphone 5 when my contract is up for renew but but its way to fragile to take to work my lady had the very 1st iphone that came out and got through 4 screens ill look at reviews then but the missis has got her eyes set on the galaxy s3 weve both got a nokia n8 which are naff for browsing

I too use my iPad for work, and it is great for reading PDF reports and emails. Have you tried Documents To Go? I used to use this on a blackberry, but do not have a vast amount of experience with it.

I have found this task fairly easy. I use Free Make (I think that's the name) to convert films to iPad format and then just drag them into iTunes for sending to iPad. You can even send the video to the iPad over WiFi, if WiFi Sync is enabled. although, it is quicker if the iPad is plugged into the PC.

My wife has had the first two generations of iPhone, and will be getting iPhone 5 today. The second generation has been through the wars, and is still going strong (other than poor battery condition). It has been dropped many times (including hard floors), dropped into dogs water bowl (fully submerged) to name a few.

I know the newer ones are more fragile, so I will be insisting on a case this time.

i was never a huge fan of iPhones until I had the iPad, and have since been waiting for the iPhone 5 which I will be getting once my contract is up for renewal.
