NVQ 3 will come into effect in the latter part of 2013 . If you pass your part p full scope b4 that and register u will be classed as a QS , if u don't then your outta luck buddy ,,,, then ! u will need to do the more involved expensive route ie NVQ 3 to be a QS , any1 who dose this will not need to later do the NVQ as its not retrospective period ! ,

Thanks again folks.

Although i have my NVQ and 2330 i just feel inexperienced, all of the work i have done of mainly site based or in existing commercial buildings. Throughout all of my courses ive always had top marks (nothing like blowing your own trumpet, just did my 17th and got 97% in 50minutes) however thats probably due to the industries fascination with multiple choice exams!

Regardless of all that however, i lack the knowledge when it comes to domestic property construction and basically the efficiencies which come with experience, so i'm looking for every course which can help speed that process up abit.

As mentioned before the 17th has become my bible of late (still in my old job where it doesn't really apply to just reading it at every opportunity, sad i know but i'm sure am not the only one).

GN3 is on the way, i was surprised that NON of my local wholesalers stock it.

And now for possibly the stupidest question of the thread... what are the building regs and where can i buy a copy?! Or is the building regs just an umbrella term for a few different publications?

Thanks again, as always your advice is much appreciated.
