Is anyone else having problems getting on a paid course?

At the end of my tether!
First I tried to get on the 2330 electrical course at college back in April and was told it was over subscribed.
I then decided to pay for the course and have been told by ableskills they have no places until May 09 and tradeskills4u are also fully booked up until feb/march 09.
I ve looked into OCLI and Access Trade Careers but they dont suit me as they offer remote learning as well as being £2k more.

Is anyone else having this problem?

This will make some of you sick. We did the first 6 weeks of the 2330 year 1. We went on holiday for a week and when we got back there is this 16 year old kid who has managed to get himself onto the course late. So he is working his way through the last six weeks of practical and theory trying to catch up. One of the other guys said that in his own case he only just got on in August and was told that there are 22 other people in the waiting list behind him. None of us can understand how this kid can turn up and jump on the course!!!!
