I have the results of my Tutor marked assignment (TMA) back today and i had one question wrong but i dont think it is.

Q- An electric lamp has a filament resistance of 534 ohms. when connected to a 230v supply, the current flowing would be?
A-122820
B-0.4307
C-4.307
D-2.322

I achieved my answer by using ohms law. I used, I= R/V
534 / 230 = 2.321739130434783

My answer was and is D but my tutor maked it as incorrect and the correct answer being B ????????????????

You've got it the wrong way round.

I = V/R

230/534 = 0.4307

Remember the triangle
V=IR
You need to find current which I
Divide R by both side v/r=IR/R
Cut R/R remain
V/R=I
I=v/R
I=230/534
Ans is =0.4307
