I am looking for a floodlight 20-50W with a PIR which has a remote control with it that can switch the floodlight on or off. Is there such a thing?
Cheers all :)

CEF do them. fitted a couple. anothe rbonus is that you can set up the timer and the lux from the remote. .tryfind you a link in a min.

here. no doubt other wholesalers do similar.

The CEF one has a microwave sensor, rather than a PIR. I've fitted similar 50W from TLC, also with a microwave sensor. Not sure in practice how different they will behave outdoors, compared to PIR ones.

Fitted a couple the other day Knightsbridge fitting separate remote, ideal for home use. Recall 5 different features pir, dusk till dawn or timed dusk till dawn and on and off & others , only down side if power goes off you have to set it up again, hope this helps

I've fitted a bunch of the LEDLite ones from TLC and nearly every one has failed (no they weren't all purchased at the same time), so my advice would be steer clear of the LEDLite ones.

The issue with microwave sensors is that rain will trigger them. This is another common complaint from clients who have them.

I've had a microwave sensor 2D style bulkhead light outside my back door for ages and it's not been triggered by rain ever.
It comes in very handy when using the downstairs WC and it picks me up through the walls/windows so i don't have to turn on the interior light.
