yeah. 1552/3, that's a megger made by megger, used to megger, no flukes about it.
 
I'm thinking of getting one of the fluke multimeters, could anyone recomend which one?

A 'multimeter' is a different piece of kit entirely. What you're in the market for is a 'multifunction' tester, specifically a 17th edition one. There are a few different makes, but I'd say that the Megger probably have the edge in popularity.

As for 2 lead or 3 lead me thinks the author is covering his self because some testers ie the older units have a 3 lead set up the newer ones are 2 lead
