Yeah setting up is a pain at times, but these days even if clubs have a pair of 1210s they aint set up correct or have some cheap bent needles on them.
Last place i had a residency had two cdj 300's linked with a firewire cable so used to just show up with a memory stick and some headphones ...Nice.

I dont bother with time coded vinyl or cds now, just straight from the s2 controller to traktor, it opens up so many more possibilities you can do so much more than you could with two CDJs or two 1210s. Still at least we paid our dues and learnt on vinyl some of these digital djs these days wouldnt be able to keep Zero B - Lock up in the mix on a turntable.. If you need any old hardcore vinyl rips hit me up mate as i have ripped everything that i have sold so far.

Are you in London? did you play out or do any radio? I only gave up radio last year been doing different stations for about 20 yrs on and off. All london FM did Impact , Format, Eruption, Force, Centreforce and a few internet stations too.

I totally agree with you as far as the doorways available in methods you using and yes! Many would not have a chance in locking some tunes like Zero B... and most of those old beats layed down on the old amiga and akai's ....man when that came out. we used to be a Rocket Holloway rd every week hahahah
Hype, randall...Grooerider was off the rails...Dont know how i made it out alive

Duude would love to get some hardcore Rips. i bought few of this kiddy other week and TBH most was junk. I mean nothing like your own collection is there really....there are a few i let go off which if i could get i would be well chuffed.

As for my past....I was in london moved to Brighton. kinda left the hardcore thing and done all sorts. travelled to India in 93 and all changed . Supprise ! turned into a smelly hippie playing spaced out trance music. Res Dj for return to the source. But also at same time worked for a club called CARWASH in london playing disco funk. i was in their office doing the management and Res dj. Most of my travels and real fun was from the trance/techno. Loads free party movements and illegal warehouse's. The dayzzz aye. dear oh dear...

My Discog User Madacp. check out collection. its only hardcore up there....

small world, we used to also be down the Rocket every week , Orange, Chris Pauls event.
Went to school with randall, was playing the circuit a few yrs back with the likes of squirrel from orange at places like Se1, Hidden, MOS ect for Epidemik, Euphoria, Slip back in time. Did some promoting of my own nights too.

So you played for carwash..i heard good things about that night, never went though. Wasnt it at the old Arches in Gooding Street , Vauxhall?

Ill send you a PM.
