Yeah setting up is a pain at times, but these days even if clubs have a pair of 1210s they aint set up correct or have some cheap bent needles on them.
Last place i had a residency had two cdj 300's linked with a firewire cable so used to just show up with a memory stick and some headphones ...Nice.
I dont bother with time coded vinyl or cds now, just straight from the s2 controller to traktor, it opens up so many more possibilities you can do so much more than you could with two CDJs or two 1210s. Still at least we paid our dues and learnt on vinyl some of these digital djs these days wouldnt be able to keep Zero B - Lock up in the mix on a turntable.. If you need any old hardcore vinyl rips hit me up mate as i have ripped everything that i have sold so far.
Are you in London? did you play out or do any radio? I only gave up radio last year been doing different stations for about 20 yrs on and off. All london FM did Impact , Format, Eruption, Force, Centreforce and a few internet stations too.
