Had a crap last year, My little boy has been in and out of hospital for the last 4 months, let down by the NHS.

I couldn't work therefore I couldn't keep up this monster of a solar company I had. hard to find £6-7k a month- at one point I'd set up an office in our hospital room.

They came to take my Van and Car today which I had sold to them and leased back at some obscene interest rate just to pump some money back into my new Energy Shop which I had just set up.

It's really has been a pleasure going through the highs and the lows of the Solar Industry with you guys, although I've never met you, I consider some of you as friends.

Signed on a few weeks ago haha- How did it ever get to this?

Mate sorry to hear that I too hit the bottom of the solar world and could not understand how I went form 14 installs per week to zero.

I bought a big house before the march cuts and then boom no work went bust as MEP and started again as Eco deal for the GD which I praying keeps me out of the pooh pooh .

I feel for you and know what its like , is there nobody taking on im sure you be a asset to any company ?

My heads not with it at the moment but have been trying to sort something new out, I set up a separate venture last year for the GreenDeal. (Rother Energy) but not sure what to do with it atm.

My Priority is making sure my son gets well, he's back to school but now being bullied because he has a bandage around his head.

Sorry don't want to give out a sob story- I know that life isn't fair and I'll be back in the game soon just using the forum as a sounding off board

It's always sad to hear an entrepreneur throwing the towel in. Hope it makes you wiser and better equipped so you can dust yourself off and start again with something else.

Good luck Lee - Duncan Bannantyne went bust loads of times before hitting the big time, a family member of mine did it several times and all without government help! Just remember us when you hit the big time - you're time will come, you're not short of ideas
