Kebab shops... brings back memories of Friday nights in the UK when I was there in the 80's. In those days there was no creamflow and it was still chippies. I was at Uni and living in digs in Moss Side at the time and I regularly used to walk to my favourite chippy in Fallowfield called The Windy Harbour.

We regularly go to The Junction pub down The Moss.

The Junction was one of the pubs we'd go to because it was the local but we mostly went to the student bars at the uni or the students union at UMIST. The local pubs were quite lively and things were also tense with the riots and the Sri Lankan guy that holed up in a church to avoid deportation.
