As a jobbing domestic badger I now use an estate car ( got rid of the van ) and just pay normal car insurance

As above don't bother with tool insurance

Just normal PL and PI for my scam reg

Sorry to bump an old(ish) thread but have the JIB said anything regarding the rate of inflation vs their proposed raise of ÂŁ0.44p come January? I never see anything on their website or social media, just the usual posts blowing smoke up their own arse.

With all the strikes that's been happening this year, why hasn't there been any strikes in the industry?

If everybody strikes then it will just make the situation worse.

Especially if they demand inflation plus 2% like certain people are. Although it's not about the money, it's about the conditions apparently!!

Most of us aren't in the JIB, its old hat and as Ive said before more like a union card to get on building sites.

I have probably worked under or with over 100 sparks
Less than 10 of them were JIB card holders

The JIB is a relic
