Any sort of paperwork produced, apart from the extortionate bill?

Haha luckily it was part of the Homeserve insurance policy so no bill! Would have to dig out paperwork if I still have it, but pretty sure there was no detail about electrical stuff, just a case of, "This is an old fusebox, you should get a new fusebox" I think.

Home Serve, now there is a misnomer He was probably no more an Electrician the the bloke who turned up at mine to repair a leak was a Plumber, he was about 17 had to borrow tools, told him to sling his hook, and immediately canceled the agreement with HS, bunch of wannabe tradesmen. I hope you realise that if they turn up and in the process of trying to repair whatever, and they bust something, that is not covered, Home Serve, Home Scam more likely.
