Any advice how to start jobs for electrical mate , and how to make CV, please .

I believe you have been told ..sparks or improvers get the better money because they have suffered .. you cannot get to be what you want without the hardship and pain we have all been thro
I know that mate ,but Level 2 is 1400£ , Level 3 is 3500£ + Testing inspections 600£+18th editions 450£+ CSCS 300£, + ECS card + tools + Car .
You be rich over 10 000 , what is the point , doing this jobs .
All trades want experience one and minimum 3 year.
I can’t understand people make some live hard .
Sorry....

No mate book the test now ......

They only do one test a month per test centre, or so they told me.

I learnt the material in ten days.....

It’s not hard, but you need to revise !

Thank you .
I doing today .
When get ECS card what is the next step .

Apply for electrical mate jobs with agencies.

You have to remember though, you are starting at the bottom of the ladder. You're not going to jump into a well paying electrical job with only a level 2 and no experience.

In regard to tools, if you use the forum search feature. say searching, "tools for apprentices" it'll bring up lots of good threads with tool advice.
