Hello. Looking for recommendations on a co alarm. Usually use aico but client is not happy with the look of them. Old victorian house probably.
 
I’d go for quality over looks when it comes to safety systems.

Aico are not that bad for aesthetics and can go fairly unnoticed on a white ceiling. Can also go on a wall.
 
If worst comes to worst I believe that siemens sells CO sensor kit with switching capability, for ussage within oxternal system, but you would have to get your own supply to it. I have used recico NI-CD 9V battery and transistor controlled trickle charge on on I=C/10 and buzzer with its own Crystal. I have used it once long time ago in one persons mansion, Inside suitable enclosure (used a light fitting from ikea). But that is a fuff...
