Have you used them to say they are crap?
Or like me you have not used them yet, but don't really like the look of them?
I will try one, one day.

I have tried using them once
Done one, then replaced it with an Ashley as it looked pants

Even told the rep at elex 2011 they were crap lol

I would like to say that I have used the Ashley enclosures and they are far more fiddly than using the maintenance free connectors AND the line enclosures. With the Line products YOU have complete control how you dress the cables and I have found even when using 6 cables there is enough room to dress, enclose and secure with the zip ties.

As for this product LOOKING crap? The Line enclosure fit easily through any downlighter hole and they are easily fastened to any joist if you use a little thought. It serves it's purpose in every way and the rounded profile gives you piece of mind that damage to the cables will not occur when sealing it.

Please view my thread that has been made a "sticky" and see how such a simple design can make your life so much easier. I have nailed half of my supplies on my last job alone and I cannot say that I would use another enclosure in place of this one. I am also very keen to see the NEW products hit the shop that will aid even easier disconnection of sections of lighting circuits that have sensitive equipment such as transformers on them.

Anyone not using this product yet, get in touch with Farrel and request a sample pack. His service is second to none satisfying my next day requirements on more than one occasion.

Bottom line, this enclosure does exactly what is expected of it, speeds up your termination times and can be left knowing that you will not have to return due to cables vibrating loose. Don't knock it on looks, that's just childish!

Not using something just because it doesn't look like every other form of junction box out there is just being silly.

End of the day it does its job, very well and there's no way any cables connected using one of the Line enclosure is ever going to work loose.

Regards some of us not liking them because the don't like the look, why does it matter, most of the time its under the floor or in the loft space anyway

everyone has their own opinions ;)

Those line boxes are crap ! They look real messy too !
Erghh !

Just get a few to try mate and give em a go, i used to think the same but they are very useful. I keep a stock of both line and wagoboxes as sometime the line fits easier than the wago so with both options there will never be the need to use a normal box again.
