Guys, Let's not detract from what's been said.

It looks likely that the expected June cut is not going to happen.

This is Great news for the Industry, I want a sustainable business not the way it has been for the past 8 months all the ups and downs.

I have a couple of big jobs lined up and this now gives me more time to deal with them properly instead of all the rushing.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see how long the delay is for. I can't get too excited until I see how long - end of year would be good but I bet you a tin of Waitrose beans it will be delayed until October!!!!!!

I wouldn't count on this being anything other than a delay of a few weeks, probably caused mainly by them messing up and forgetting about the whitsun holiday period when calculating the date they needed to announce the FIT cuts on.

If I'm right, I hope they'll also put back the end of September cut, as it's bad enough with 3 months between cuts, any less would be a complete nightmare.

If they have to have 2 cuts this year, I hope they make it end of August and end of Nov start dec. But I hope they actually announce the actual dates and cuts planned a long way in advance.

The green deal will be delayed! All the governt is interested in is fuel poverty, the only way to eliminate this is to reduce the costs not insulate houses. Can they not grasp that ! PV in German has reduced energy costs ....
