I've had a tiny problem with little spots of black mould around my bath. The guys who fitted out the bathroom were ----.
Cheap silicone sealer will always yellow, and black spots are always a hassle.
I intended to redo it all, but time passes by...suddenly, I have a couple of visitors coming to stay, so I set about stripping out all the old sealant and applying new stuff.
No...I cheated!
It took me less than 5 minutes, it lasts a couple of months...
Life's too short guys and girls!

Yup!
Tippex...or Liquid Paper! It's brilliant for covering up minor mould spots and also tiny dings in the skirting boards!

Many other uses too...

I remember being in school and the chemistry teacher brought in the concentrated “stuff” that is in liquid paper….

Instructed each of us to use a dropper and pop a single drop into each of our little bottles of the stuff…old bottles that were getting dry.

It thinned it down a bit and brought it back smoother and useful.

One girl knocked the bottle of liquid over and the burned through half her work jotter.

That was chemistry. I was busy in physics creating sparks with the power supplies.

Never worry about losing your fancy threaded rods! These can be left in-situ, they are cheap, strong and quite long! Perfect for leading cable through roof joists...

We get five hours to do a holiday cottage changeover. This gets done on baths and showers regularly.
