You know how your tube of silicon sealer has gone solid just when you most need it!?

Do you think that one could use this problem to make a permanent water tight joint, eg using twisted conductors secured in the usual connectors and placed in a suitable small plastic tubelike container and then fully filled with silicon sealant. Leave it to go solid whilst using it as an insulator.

I do know that resin filled methods already exist.

Get it on dragons den.
I wouldn't bother getting it BSI certified, after all, all this IP stuff is only a guideline ...

On a serious note.....SERIOUSLY, you think that's going to be ok.

You should check out some of Pete's videos, he's got a great one on building your own extention leads.

Why not use the propriety types from your local Wholesaler?

Glad someone agrees. 6mm drain hole at the bottom 5 tubes of silicone makes anything waterproof. :D

My own new rating I-B bodging(that)1
