And it was pretty much as you'd expect. A bland couple of days where the most interesting things came about when we came away from the work and chatted about the industry etc.
Only three guys on the course and they only have one every 6 weeks. Make of that what you will. The guy taking the training was good and at least made it interesting, although he acknowledged that the entire course was an exercise in teaching a granny to suck eggs.
The exam is AWFUL. Ambiguous questions and out of date answers.
Some of the questions refer to G83/1 rather than G83/2. I got a few wrong which were frankly laughable. For example. "Which of these PV components is it important to check for good ventilation - a. DC cables b. AC cables c. Inverter d. modules." I put inverter. The 'correct' answer was modules. There were a few other examples too.
Anyway, got it out the way now.
