So while opinions are still divided I thought I would try and inject a bit of normality into the events.
Just a simple poll on now we are out of the eu would the uk like to see an household favourite back on the shelves of our shops.

Campaign " Bring back the Marathon bar and send back the Snickers Bar " a simple yes or no

Massive yes from me for Marathon. Will save all the confusion now. "Hey missus, get my snickers out will you, I'm running late" . There's you running around in your boxers and she throws a peanut chocolate bar at you. Problem solved now.

GMES, you do know that Marathon are owned by the US company Mars! Its a USA thing and not a EU thing. Although you could say it is down to harmonization of packaging and flavors. Ever eaten an American chocolate bar? Nothing like the UK version/s.

I'll vote yes, bring back Marathon.... We have "had ours nuts". Now lets bring back a uk favorite.

Lets not worry about the name of the thing, what about the size! The current Snickers bar is tiny. The 'Industrial' size version now seems to be the size of the original bar.

Perhaps we should seek to rename that French beer, advertised by that Cantona bloke, you know seagulls follow the trawler, as CromerBorough 2016? And sell it in a pint bottle or can.

well i voted out mainly because i didn't want our beer to go the same way as milk. we'd end upgoing to the pub and ordering a half litre. YUK.

And back EMF can go back to meaning electromotive force rather than something to do with a European market subsidy.

Yup - WikipediA reckons they were discontinued in 1984 and briefly reintroduced in 1995. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spangles_(sweets)

The 'Old English' ones were my favourites.

Marathon was the original name of the snickers bar, it's the same thing
