Should I wire it straight to the live cable and not use the bussbarr
 
You are in the Republic of Ireland and what you are doing is a criminal act. Unless you are an REC which I assume you are not you are not allowed to carry out these works and advertising the fact you have on a public forum isn't very bright. You could face a hefty fine or even imprisonment.
 
Turn shower on get the light nothing else, and the rccd trips, but there's still power to the shower, only to light it up, nothing else
Hi Mate to save yourself any hurt and heartache you really need to hire an Electrician, before you do yourself a mischief, as you obviously have little or no idea of what you are doing, not your fault, and don't feel downhearted, a Sparky should be able to sort your problem out PDQ, Good luck whatever you decide.
