phylo

please could someone help me out with which model kewtech i would be better of buying kt64 or kt65, i have only just qualified and need to buy soon. THANKS. PHILL.

The KT65, looks the newer one, all do the same thing.

The KT65 also has a save option to save your Test results and comes with the software and leads to download them.

There is about ÂŁ100 difference in price so depends what your budget is as well

Why dont you call Kewtech and see if you can get a rep down, also try a few other makes, the reps are usually very happy to come and show off their products.

thanks, for the reply, budget is a issue the more money i save the better, ive been looking at second hand ones, the kt64 is like half the price, i just wanted to make sure i wasnt waisting my money on the older model.

Like I said get a rep around and get their opinion - you might even be able to get a trial version and bring it on site with you.

Make sure they know your also looking at Fluke and a few other makes.

You dont have to go with any of them but its always a good idea.

In the current climate the reps will do anything to get a sale, even knock a large % off items.

Just dont mention about looking at 2nd hand

Is it just Kewtech your looking at, or have you looked at others as well?

i will take your advice with the rep, i wanted the kewtech becuse ive heard its the easiest to operate. THANKS again for the advice nicholas.

personally, i find the megger 1552 a doddle to use. never used a kewtech, so can't comment on them.
