Any suggestions as to any type of energy efficient downlight that could be fitted in a sloping ceiling that is plasterboarded on 25mm lathes, 80mm Kingspan between spars then 50mm gap to undersided of slate lath and tiles, loft conversion with wetroom at end. Ceiling is low, down to 1 metre from floor at one side so cannot have surface mounted on ceiling. All inset fittings I've seen to date are at least 120mm deep to start so already through Kingspan and nearing slate lath if fitted. Part L not met.
Have found these on web: Lighting Superstore - 5579 Ice Led SpotLight - IP65 Rated LED Round Showerlight with aquatic g
Only 60mm deep, low heat as LED but at £42 each not ideal and not great all round and rest of loft ceiling does not need IP65 of course. What would you do, fit usual fire rated downlights through Kingspan, going round in circles trying to determine effective solution as ceiling throughout too low for surface mounted but cannot just have wall mounted at both sides. Have to satisfy building control at the end but not allocated yet.
