Keep coming across same problem and every spark has different answer.Sockets and switches should be a minnium of 300mm from edge of sink or cooker what do you do when no wall space ,anyone know the CORRECT answer ?

Cheers rich, their must be alot of sparks with no common sense putting sockets within 50mm of edge of cookers etc.

Trouble comes when you do your 1st fix as per drawing then come back a week later when it is all tiled, only to find they altered the kitchen because they wanted to squeeze another 300mm unit!

or cooker iso`s behind the cooker......or even....no iso at all.....as we found the other week on a periodic.....they were pullin the cooker cable out of the CCU in order to turn it off as the switches were broke on the cooker.....we disconnected it at the C/U....then went to get a DP cooker wallplate for it....bloody shambles......
