Thanks for speedy replies

Also the kitchen cabinets have gaps for window and cooker.
Is it best to have 2/3 separate led strips circuits with transformers or 1 transformer and link the strips? Could i wire the links with twin and earth?

Any preference on where to hide transformer? on top on unit?

Haven't installed any led strip lights so all help appreciated

Thanks

For a fairly simple & reasonably priced solution, I use Ansell Axiom rigid strips; www.anselluk.com/en/product/AAXLED.
You can purchase the drivers, mains lead & link leads.

As regards your other questions, transformers on top of wall units. With different height wall units, each luminaire will require a mains lead down the back of each wall unit. If there's a gap, e.g. cookerhood, you'll need a wired supply.

Are you doing this or an electrician?

the ones i posted about are plug and play. the way the plug/driver are configured means that you can take plug off to feed cable then refit after (rather than those horrible plug-in PSUs). last one i did was split, so i has to cut off 3 of the ELV plugs, fish cables throgh a 1/2" duct, then re-attach plug.
