Kitchen upgrade costing?

Hi guys, just priced a job and i think i may have priced to much?
Basically it is reconfiguring the original ring and adding extra points, points on view and cooker switch to be MK Brushed chrome about 3-4 sockets on view. Rest in white goods under counter etc. Cooker wire already in place and using existing. Having to add RCD enclosure to protect sockets as original board has no RCD and not one available. Circuits to be sheathed and buried.
There are also 7 spots to install and also need to add gas bonding and water as non there currently.
Then test and certify.

Estimated 2 days work and materials £927

Way over the top didn't you know partp sparks doing full rewires for £1200 these days

at a glance, it looks about £200 too high, but that's without seeing the job and assuming it's 2 days for 1 spark.

If the spots are LED then the costing may make sense!

Are you supplying the spots? Are they LED and when you say adding sockets... How many etc as this could have bearing on the cost. Also the bonding might be a pig of a route and 50m away

Providing all materials 7x 12v Downlighters Mk Brushed chrome switches and cooker switches and lighting switches.
Work is ripping apart original circuit and rerouting and adding about 5 sockets and moving older points. All work to be sheathed up and flush.
Spark and a mate.

I'd say you were around about right if there is 2 days work for spark and a mate. Having not seen it hard to comment tho, really does depend on the job

I'd say not too far off, surprising how much an MK brushed chrome cooker switch is.

Ha you would be amazed! I did tell the customer that you could get a lot more cheaper chrome fittings than the MK range. And surprising the price of 12v spots!

Deta brushed chrome aren't too bad, you can always say to the customer about another brand if they come back to you saying its too expensive

I bet someone else quotes about £500, then charges them a few hundred more for "unforseen circumstances". Then they will wish they'd had you.

How much are the 12v spots costing to buy? I don't know if its surprisingly cheap, or surprisingly expensive.
