Klixx System

Has anyone had any experiences with Klixx mounting systems? The one with the no tool clips?

Not to be mistaken for Click, the one that fixes to batons

If the only benefit to that system is "no need for tedious" screws then I doubt I would ever consider installing with it. The roof bracket has a "tedious" screw and nut to adjust anyway...... I doubt the time saving that can actually be achieved.

We have used the Klixx system on a number of installs in the UK, from Pantile roofs to blue slate. There is definitely a speed advantage to be had with the clamps and additionally customers like the security aspect of it, i.e. when the clip is removed from the clamp cannot be opened.

Unless you have a piece if wire or a small screwdiver in your pocket then it's a cinch to undo them

Speed, not convinced, we've used all sorts, the 'no tools' is a load of bull, and when you're competent with any of the systems, they are all similar in speed.

we have organiced a small competition with different installers and different sorts, the "toolless" was always the fastest and the most comfortable, it was very impressive!
